1. By washing with disinfectant and running water, the Nasopharyngeal Fiberscope Cleaner quickly disinfects and cleans fiberscopes that might otherwise cause nosocominal infections.
2. Never inflicts damage on fiberscope coating.

4. There are 2 kinds of cleaner, of which one is for use in a sink, while the other is for use outside of a sink.
5. To achieve a higher degree of cleaning for different types of fiberscope, three different types of cleaning pipe are available.

Operation

1. Wipe fiberscope with gauze moistened in a disinfectant such as saline or benzalkonium chloride to remove organic matter (never use alcohol since it may damage surface material).
2. Immerse fiberscope in a disinfecting pipe filled with disinfectant liquid. Keep immersed for an appropriate period of time (e.g. 3 minutes in 2% glutaraldehyde).
3. Remove fiberscope from disinfecting pipe and insert into cleaning pipe. Pass running water through cleaning pipe for three minutes. (The pipe is structured so that water will run along the guide of the fiberscope, turn the right angle at the bottom of the pipe, and wash out minute dirt particles from the surface of the lens.)

Spares

• Choose appropriate cleaning pipes according to the fiberscope at hand so that the end of the fiberscope can be cleaned thoroughly.
• Purchase optional parts for replacement of broken or soiled pipe, or when you use a different fiberscope.
